drumkits storage dir

Hi, I recently installed Polyphone and have used it successfully. I haven't tried everything in it but so far it's been good.

Is there a way to store the drumkits in a chosen location?

Right now they are in/usr/share/hydrogen/data/drumkits/I can't remember if I was asked a question about it by some install script during installation. I'm pretty sure I wasn't because I would not have chosen that location.

I've been through the manual and what I coul find on the Web and couldn't find an answer.

If one has a hard drive or a partition dedicated to audio (sound files) that would be the place to put the drumkits. Mine is especially large, much larger than my /(root). I imagine that the content of the drumkits folder could get quite large.

    Thank you.

Using a simple symlink does the trick.

I moved the drumkits to a chosen partition (could also be a directory in the
same partition but outside of the user's home dir). I deleted the now empty
"drumkits" directory. I then created a link named "drumkits" in/usr/share/hydrogen/data/pointing to its new location.

    All seems good for now.
