volume vs. velocity for a piano font

    dear Polyphone community
I'm working on a piano soundfont and I look for a possibility to change the volume versus velocity curve/function. My goal is to have louder notes (higher volume) when playing low velocities. A more flat volume vs. velocity curve so to speak.

    Do you have an idea?
    Kind greetings!
    Tom

the soundfont protocol plays low velocities in a lower Volume and longer Attack. all you can do is attenuate the higher velocity samples and turn up the volume of your amplifier.

In the instrument section, select patch and use "Override a Default Modulator" from the Tools menu.

Default Mod #1 is the setting you are looking for. Apply it.

This setting should now be in the Modulator section: You can reduce the velocity response by decreasing the value of the default modulator you are overriding, which you see as 960 by default in the value box (for example: try: 720, 480, 240).
