Modulator doesn't work

    Hello,

I added a modulator that cuts the high frequencies when I decrease the MIDI CC011 Expression value. And in Polyphone I also tested it with the keyboard and it works perfectly: So with a MIDI expression value of 127 nothing is cut and as soon as I lower it, the more high frequencies are cut. But as soon as I load the soundfont into a DAW, the frequency cut is constantly applied and no matter what value I choose for Expression, it doesn't change anything. Why does it not work?
    Thank you!

I will hazard a guess that the DAW is at fault because I know from experiance that high frequency filters of the type you state do work correctly. Why do you not try your font with fluidsynth? This will work correctly provided your filter is properly made.

Thanks for the tip, but too bad it doesn't work because I would like to keep using my DAW.

you could try to use rhe Coolsoft VirtualMidiSynth in your DAW.

Thanks for the solution! But I mainly make music on an Android device and unfortunately the OS doesn't support any plugins. Is there really no other way to cut off the high frequencies by lowering a MIDI CC value so that it works in DAWs?

well, the high frequency filter in soundfonts.sf2 works fine in DAWs, just not in the DAW you use.
    maybe your DAW obeys SFZ's

Thanks for the tip. It seems that the frequence filter in my DAW only work with MIDI CC21-CC24.
