The sustain pedal work for all instrument, even bass and drums
Is it possible to not assign a sustain pedal to an instrument?.
I made a soundfont with bass on the left and piano on the right and I just want the sustain pedal assign to the piano, not to the bass.
Is it possible?
CC64 is a MIDI command and cannot be used as a source in an soundfont modulator.
As a workaround: Use two separate patches for piano and bass, set split on the keyboard you are using, and turn off CC64 (Sustain Pedal) for left side.
Thank you for your reply.
It’s what I thought, I just wanted to be sure . But To do that, I need a controler. I have a Roland fp10 and I can not Turn off the CC64 on this keyboard. The sustain pedal is applied on the piano and the bass when I use the split function . On a yamaha piano, it is by default , the CC64 is not applied to the bass.
But thanks anyway.
Oh, I'm sorry about that.
But yes, although the split function works internally on some digital pianos, it doesn't send these messages out from a separate MIDI channel(s) and/or the MIDI output channel(s) are not adjustable.
