Reproduce sound & tone range of my electric viola

  Is it possible with the intermediary of SoundFont to record the sound of my electric viola that I play in a specific way & find it in reader on a controller .. with the ability to play on different note heights?

  Of course, this is the inner mechanism of the soundfont technology: using a sample and then playing it at different pitches.
  
  I can advise you read these small tutorials first: here and here. In the future other tutorials will come.
  
  For the record of samples you will need some extra hardware of course and possibly a software to clean the sound (removing noise etc).
