So I'm making a soundfont to add a bit more notes to a sample I liked, to make it deeper and such. Basically, I was wondering if there was any way to automatically lower the root note? By default it starts at C5, but I was wondering how to make it start at C4 automatically. If I don't really find an automatic solution, I can always manually do it, but I was wondering if there was an easier way. Thanks.

transpose your sample in a wave editor, if you are lucky, one octave is possible. in a soundfont editor you will het a poor result since the .sf2 protocol transposes samples by changeing the bit rate
attach your sample and i will try what my wave editor can do.
