I have made a steel drum sound font. each note's wave form and sample ring with the natural sustain that was recorded. When played in the preset, if I do not click on the sustain pedal, the keyboard plays a short "blip" for each note. This also happens when the soundfont is used in sforzando. Is there a parameter or way for the full sample with the sustain to play even if you do not hold down the key or use the sustain pedal? I attached a file with the sample followed by the note played without the sustain pedal.
I did the 5 sec vol env release (Global). seems to work on quarter,half and whole notes. but eigth and sixteenths still have the sample cut short and unnatural sounding. Any other adjustment that would keep that sustain pedal on for all length of notes?
I would like all notes to ring like the sustain pedal was held down - and the actual notes on a steel drum do -- even in eighth note and sixteenth note runs.
