    Hello Jan,

For now I had no requests for a translation but all languages would be nice to have. My guess would be that German, Portuguese, Chinese, Russian could be nice additions. This task can only be undertaken by a native speaker, I added instructions here:
    https://www.polyphone.io/en/documentatio…/translate-polyphone

See also this page where I'll put all necessary files to begin / improve a translation:

    Regards,
    Davy

Hello! I would like to translate Polyphone to Brazilian Portuguese, but in the download page of translation files here it says "You are not authorized to download". Can you fix this or send the files to me via email? Thank you.

    Hello again, Davy.
In theory, I've finished the translation, but I'm getting some weird issues when using it at Polyphone. As you can see in the image, some words are translated to portuguese, but other words fall back to default french, even though the whole translation was been made. Can you see what's wrong? I'm not used to do this kind of work, I don't know if I did something wrong in QT Linguist.

    Great job!

This is a known bug from Qt Linguist. I wrote a note here:

the operation "Release As..." may translate only text comprising no accent. If this bug happens, open a terminal and use the following command:lrelease polyphone_XX.ts(adapt it to your current file).

    Could you please try it?
    Thanks a lot

I don't have the full package of Qt to use "lrelease", I'm using a light version of Qt Linguist only. Still, I've figured out that I was using an outdated version of Qt Linguist. After a quick search, I found a newer version, and now it releases the translation properly. With everything working, I've made some quick corrections in the translation as well. The files are attached.

Thank you very much for this work!
I updated the page listing all translations and the Portuguese language will be part of the next release.
Can I mention your name in the credits of the software?

By the way, if there are plans to translate the website, documentation, tutorials, etc, count me in (contact me if needed, I don't come here everyday).
