I know how the envelope works and I know what is "Vol env release" however I have an instrument (I downloaded from internet) which has "Mod env release" set to "2s" but there is absolutely no modulator in the instrument and also not in the preset. Is it safe to assume this setting "Mod env release" has no effect in this instrument? Also, what does it mean this setting?
this release setting indeed has no effect if there are no Mod env settings. (there may have been mod settings that are deleted, except this release)
Mod env release secures a smooth ending of the Mod env settings like Vol env release secures a smooth ending of the Vol env settings.
