The More I Use This Version

    Davy,

Sir, the more I use this version, the more like LOVE it! I don't remember exactly which version I was using before, but I usually had to do some tuning. With this version, your algorithm must be much improved. I checked tuning at first, but nothing was more than one or two cents off, and my tuner could be off by that much, I suppose.

I said "WOW" before. I say it doubly now.

This is brilliant work and makes forming sound fonts from wave samples much, much easier than before. The only time I have to "fiddle" with things is if I've had to clean samples with Spear or something. Then all bets are off. Still, this program makes even that fairly simple.

If I were forced to make any request or suggestion, it would be to add a feature for off-unison tuning. But even this is not a problem. I just tune a quint to pitch, then make it two cents sharper on the preset section. For a tierce, it's tuned to pitch, then 14 cents flat in the preset section, if I'm doing it right. [If this bit of information is correct, maybe stating it here will help someone else.]

Thank you, thank you, thank you for sharing a really great piece of software.

    Blessings on thee, sir!

    John
