Bank 128 MIDI Confusion

    For some reason i have a kick, snare, and set of hi-hats, but the soundfont is using only the snare and open hi-hat. Why is that?

    your samples are not assigned to a key. tell your instrument in Keyrange on which keys you want to hear them
