Cause honestly, Android needs some way to create soundfonts. Like, even just somethng really simple such as a WAV to SF2 converter would be nice, cause the amount of times I could have a made a soundfont, but cannot because I don't own a computer, is kind of frustrating.

There is no plan for an android version. Several reasons:
    • a soundfont contains a lot of data and visualizing it correctly on a big screen seems mandatory
    • the keyboard seems necessary as well
    • I don't have the skills or the time to adapt the interface and build Polyphone for Android
    • this use case should be anecdotic...

    Hello,

yes,a tool like Polyphone would be great on android. I also do a lot of sampling with my android phone and edit the samples with a simple audio editor (I like the Lexis Audio Editor). But it seems there is no chance to find an audio editor that can embed loop markes within the soundfile. There are some apps that can build and use looped samples but there is no way to store the soundfile.
Does anybody here in the forum can help. It would be a great benefit to mobile sampling.

GrandOrque f.e.uses such soundfiles with embeded loop markes. Thanks, Polyphone does the job.

    Best Regards
