Hi,
I guess I'll kick off this section with some soundfonts I've been working on with Polyphone.
I've never been happy with any of the real acoustic instruments available via apps for iPad/iPhone so I decided to create my own.
Most are creative commons licensed so free to use and download. They should work with any decent sf2 player but my favourite for iOS devices is the bs-16i app.
Here is the link to the free soundfonts. I hope you enjoy.

Hello John,
Thank you for sharing your work, that's pretty impressive!
You remind me the project I had to create an organ on my own. I wasn't satisfied to what I could find over the internet and I have now big soundfonts at home representing an organ with 100 stops split into 5 divisions (I needed new tools to efficiently edit this big instrument: this was the birth of Polyphone).
This forum is still new but as the community grow bigger I hope it will help promoting your soundfonts.
Regards,
Davy -
Hi.I recently registered here on Polyphone. I have found pretty decent libraries here. I using Personally Kontakt 5 to load them, but I`m amazed how some smaller libraries sounds so good even compare to payed much larger ones.
Would you maybe share your organ library in a future? Its pretty hard to find decent church organ samples for free. G-Town sounds cool but they are only tutti.
Best regards, and thank you Davy for making this website. -
I guess respond will ever come.
-
I have my own organ samples, but they're not in soundfonts
-

Can you do soundfont from my samples?
I have lots of samples but having trouble converting them into soundfonts. Can you help me? -
I don't have the skills to start from scratch with samples. There are some great sf2 organs available here

Do you know who can help me with my samples to create soundfonts?
-
I can do that. Please provide me with the samples and I can create soundfonts for you!
-
Cool. How can I contact you?
-
Please send me a zip of your samples on the forums.
Organise them so one folder contains one soundfont full of samples.
Your soundfonts should be done within 3 days. -
How should I organise them?
One folder per note?
Or everything in one folder? -
So, I would like your samples to be organised like this:
Please put the samples you want to be in a soundfont in one folder, and repeat this process for the other samples.
Like this:
soundfont1 folder containing sample1,2,3 and 4
soundfont2 folder containing sample5,6,7,8,9 and 10
If I get this, then I will make a soundfont with samples 1,2,3 and 4 and another one with samples 5,6,7,8,9 and 10. -
not quite.
It's for one instrument, but it has 4 volume velocities from pp to fff -
Just send all the files at once, it does not have to be organised.
-
Ok thanks, I'll send them tomorrow
-
Don't forget to send your samples!
-
Yes I will.
I just busy at work in past few days.
My day schedule now is basically "work -walk-sleep-repeat"
