When trying to search forums before making new posts, the search feature seems to show the same pages multiple times in the results.
This can generate many pages to have to go through to verify if duplicate issue.
Maybe have some kind of option to only show one instance of a page that includes the keyword entered in the search.
I think you are talking about the forum messages that may relate to a same discussion. These results are not really duplicates since they target a different message.
An example is welcome if I'm wrong.
No you are correct, and the way you have it does serve a purpose.
I was just thinking it may be nice to be able to only show one instance of each page that contains keyword searching for in the results.
This way would not generate so many page results, because if a page contains a keyword one or multiple times, probably would go into that page and read the entire post. Some websites offer an option in search to just to show results by pages (one per keyword). Again only if an easy setting can be coded/provided, up to you of course.
