Polyphone keeps causing a static sound to play

    I just installed Polyphone and every time I open the application, my computer starts playing a static sound whenever I play any sound. I have to go to Control Panel -> Sound -> Speakers -> Properties -> Advanced -> Disable/Enable audio enhancements to fix this problem each time it happens.

    Does this have anything to do with my computer's system?
