Changing tuning/"tuning (scale)"?

    Hi all,

I have a large (many samples per note, many instruments) piano soundfont that I want to change to another tuning, e.g. from 12-ET to 11-ET. What would be the fastest way to do this? It would be a mammoth task to edit notes individually or in small groups via the instrument grid.

Possibly related, what is "tuning (scale)"? The documentation says "Changing "scale" plays on the difference between two consecutive notes.". This sounds somewhat like temperament, but it's not clear to me what I should do with that field. If not, what is it?

    Thanks for any help.

    Best,
    Paul

    Hello,

"scale" is not related to a temperament. A temperament respects the octaves but here you just shorten or increase the gap between two consequent notes.

Polyphone has been designed to easier the editing of big instruments or a set of a lot of instruments. I suggest you have a look at those tools:
