So im trying to create a soundfont with a sound that gets more ''muffled'' as the velocity is lower, is there a way to do that? SF2 supports cutoff filter, but i don't wanna have to sample the sound at multiple velocities just to achieve that.

the sf2 protocol does that for you automaticly, just make that soundfont and test it on the floating keyboard, hitting the keys on the tip and the back.

It is indeed a default modulator. If you want to have more control on it you can override it:
In this example, a velocity of 0 will multiply the cutoff filter by 0.132 and a velocity of 18 will keep the cutoff filter unchanged.
The base value is what you define in the table, or the default is used (around 20000Hz).

You can use the multiplications of 1200 (as a negative value).

Since the default value is -2400, it would be useful to try with values such as -3600, -4800, -6000, etc.
