Solution for looping without crossfades

  For the loops I also use the software as loopauditionner and I am happy with polyphone.
  However it seems to me that polyphone to create loops uses the technique of overlapping samples.
  It works well with mono recordings but not always and it is very hard to get a good result with stereo samples without separating the left and right signal.
  Some people are not satisfied and report that the SF2 format does not offer crossfading for sample loops.
  In my opinion there may be a solution described in the youtube video linked here
  
  

  
  
  I am ok that the loops are generated in a DAW and I do not understand all the technique (normally I speak French) but it seems that this system works and allows to avoid the crossfades.
  It would be nice to integrate the same tool into polyphone. What do you think about it?
  Also if you understand the technique it would be great to share your feedback.
  
  For my part I think that the solution is based on a forward and backward reading of a sample and the crossfades allow to obtain starting zero points.

  I use stereo organ samples, usually between 3 and 5 seconds long. I find that Polyphone makes good loops without needing any crossfading. I also find that the loops generated by Loopauditioneer can often be improved by re-making them in Polyphone using the "automatic" feature.

  Of course Polyphone is working fine and I also need to improve the samples made by loopauditioner.
  However, I think it really depends on the samples and how you use them.

  In your case, with a "constant" waveform, there is usually no problem (like your organ samples) but in some cases it is not the same.
  Looping a stereo sample is very difficult because it assumes you have zero crossing on both sides at the same time.
  I'm pretty sure the specs of the sample (ex bit depth, frequency) are easier to loop.
  
  In my first post I was just showing another way to create loops.
  It would be nice to have a second tool like this in Polyphone
